Curriculum Vitae
Benedict Gerdes has been a research associate at the Professorship in Entrepreneurship and Management at the University of Cologne since August 2019. Before, he did a dual studies program at the IBS IT & Business School Oldenburg in cooperation with the Norddeutsche Landesbank. During the dual studies he completed a commercial education for being a bank clerk, graduated in Business Administration with a focus on finance (B.A.) and studied abroad at the Nehemiah Gateway University (Albania). Subsequently, he gained experience in the risk-controlling department and participated in strategic projects while working as an employee for the Norddeutsche Landesbank. Afterwards, he studied Corporate Development (M.Sc.) at the University of Cologne. During his master degree he worked as a management assistant for an online-marketing startup and did an exchange semester at the Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México (Mexico).
